Sad news: The Great American Scream Machine has been demolished. Gone forever. Replaced by a coaster they moved over from Kentucky, for reasons unknown.

The Green Lantern.

Oh yeah, they dubbed it The Green Lantern. It's a stand-up coaster, so it might be cool. Though nothing will ever replace the bumpy loops, the loose-fitting shoulder restraints, and the neck sprains and headaches that came as a result of your head bouncing against them. RIP, Great American Scream Machine.
